Oh Hello!

Our Friends Martin and Miguel- the sweetest guys you'll ever meet!

Hello all,

This past week has been so good! Thanksgiving was so much fun! We had a dinner at the church that the sweet senior couple Elder and Sister Smith (mostly Sister Smith) put together for everyone that didn't have family here and nowhere to go! We had a beautiful turkey and ham and so many yummy desserts! Our friend Juliana and her cute children came and our friend Mark came too! After that we went to member's homes to share gratitude messages and guess what? Our friend/investigator Mark followed us in his car and came to all of our appointments with us! It was awesome! We were able to introduce him to so many amazing people in our ward and it was such a lovely day! I love missionary holidays!

We had a really good lesson with our friend Sergio this past week and he came to church again and loved it! We were able to watch the Restoration video in Spanish during 3rd hour and it was so great! We are just loving the work here and feel so grateful to be here! We had another amazing lesson last night with our friends Miguel and Martin with our cute member Sis Patterson. Miguel is SO tall! I've never met a Hispanic who is so tall! They are the nicest guys but they're leaving in a few weeks to go back to Mexico. That's one of the hardest things here is that so many of the people we teach are only here temporarily and it's hard to say bye to them! I'm grateful for their kindness and the time we have to get to know them and share the gospel.

I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving and appreciated the time you had with friends and family to remember what you are grateful for!

It's finally Christmas season!!! I'm going to post one of my favorite Christmas talks that I hope you find time to read! I hope we will start preparing now to remember the real reason we celebrate and can feel the love of our Savior and our Heavenly Father during this special time.

I love y'all!
